In November, founders of SMEs gathered in Starnberg for the Wirtschaftsgipfel Digitalisierung conference, where the challenges and, more importantly, the opportunities for digital transformation were discussed. Participants explored key topics such as the digital transformation of public administration in Germany, the use of generative AI, or social media as a tool for professional communication in this digital age.

During the course of the conference, it became apparent that digital transformation can be initiated in several ways. It is imperative to tailor digital transformation according to one’s own experiences – whether that be in the development of new software or in the automation of a task, for example. The exchange of ideas should not be neglected, as it becomes increasingly important to learn from one another. This type of collaboration encourages the creativity that is needed to question familiar processes, take those bold steps and bring about digital transformation successfully. The most promising approach is quite simple: get started, account for setbacks, react and improve!
