Our roof terrace is quite the highlight of our office. It measures approximately 80 square metres in total, with 30 square metres of functional space and a remaining surface that is covered in greenery. 

Although we would like to, we currently don’t spend much time on our terrace. When we do, it is usually the height of summertime, as it is quite shady and windy. We’ve only ever had tables and chairs on the terrace for eating lunch, so our plan was to set up a cosy seating area to relax and put our feet up together.

Staying true to the importance we place on sustainability matters, we decided to launch our upcycling project. As a group, we sawed, sanded and screwed together the left-over wooden pallets from our 20th anniversary celebration that took place last summer. Our clumsier team members were allotted painting tasks, where little could go wrong. We are proud of our new outdoor seating arrangement with backrests, a footstool, a coffee table and two flower shelves, which are now home to insect-friendly plants and herbs.

All that we’re missing now is the perfect weather!
